If the wrong item has been purchased, the requester reserves the right to reject the item. You may be required to cancel the request if an exchange is not possible, or if the requester is unwilling to accept the item purchased. Do communicate with the requester see if any accommodations can be made.
If the wrong item is delivered to Airfrov and is rejected by the requester, the transaction will be cancelled and requester’s deposit returned. The wrongly-purchased item will be returned to the traveller, without any monetary reimbursement.
Note that any cancellations (either by the traveller or Airfrov) will affect the traveller's delivery rate.
How should you avoid such situations?
Communication is key! Keep your requester as updated as possible via the private chat function. Also, it would be best to upload a picture of the purchased item while overseas, so that any errors may be rectified immediately.
